Kids Yoga Camps in Edmonton!
Looking for a fun and unique way to spend a week or three this summer? Look no further! Glow Yoga Kids is offering creative, exciting and super fun yoga camps with many amazing partners! We've been providing camps around Edmonton since 2011, and are super excited about our 2020 line up.
2020 DATES ARE HERE!
Please note that we will be implementing safety procedures during the Covid19 pandemic for all in person camps including but not limited to masked teachers, hand sanitizer stations and social distancing. We will also be following the guidelines regarding gatherings from the Alberta website.

In Person Camps: Enjoy friendship, games, crafts, music, adventure, dancing, collaboration, creativity, imaginative play, acrobatics, mindfulness, relaxation, visualization, stretching, face painting, spray park visits, mini field trips, parachute play, popsicles, and more!
For our full and half day camps, each morning begins with a focused art activity while we wait for our friends to arrive. Then we start off the fun with a few name games and our first Rainbow style yoga exploration! After all that moving and breathing, we take a mini break to fill our bellies with a snack and continue to get our creativity flowing with a mindfulness craft or one related to the theme of our yoga class. This leads us to free play where we may go outside, play yoga inspired games, head to the park, or have some water play time. Our half day, full of fun, ends with meditation, relaxation and rest. The afternoon programming schedule is the same, but filled with new games, new crafts, and a new yoga adventure!
What to bring? Yoga mats and a light snack to share are provided. For full and half day campers, be sure to bring your backpack complete a change of clothes, hat, sunscreen, water bottle, lunch (for full day campers), snack (for half day) or any special snacks you might like beyond what is provided.
Virtual Day Camps: Virtual day camps include games, crafts, friendship, adventure, dancing, collaboration, imaginative play, acrobatics, mindfulness, creativity, relaxation, visualization, stretching, story time and more! All craft supplies and props will be mailed to you prior to the day camp.
For our half day virtual camps, each day begins with a focused art activity while we wait for our friends to arrive. This is followed by story time and a few more game suggestions. Teachers will be available for the remainder of the camp for any questions or support.
What to have? Yoga mats are recommended but not necessary if you don't have any, a piece of ground will do. A water bottle, some comfy clothes to practice yoga in and a snack are also recommendations. We aim to run these virtual camps with minimal props but all craft supplies and props will be mailed to you prior to you day camp.
